FROM JOYCE: Mom got to Minneapolis fine. Just talked to her. It was rough at Sea-Tac because it is so far to the Northwest Airlines (down a huge escalator ...which she almost fell on & then on an underground subway, etc....) area...and she was clear down at S terminal. She should have asked for a ride but didn't. At Minneapolis they asked her if she wanted a wheel chair and she said yes. They took her all the way to Tom & Joyce's (she's my cousin) car! But her flight was good and she is happy...just tired. She got up at 3 this morning! I talked with Joyce and she took mom to a really neat 50's diner for dinner and now has her in a recliner with her feet up and tucking mom in early. Tomorrow they are spending the day at home baking and tomorrow night my other cousins (Selmer & family and Patty & family) will be going to see mom. That will be nice for mom. Friday Patty has the day off and will be driving mom the 6 hour drive to Peever to my Aunt Lorraine's.
Doug is leaving Virginia the 19th or 20th and will arrive in Peever around the 23rd. He has to be back to work by the 2nd and isn't sure when they will be leaving Peever for Virginia. That is the mom update!!! I will be trying to keep her web site updated as I talk to her!
